Jocelyn advises public and private companies and financial investors on a broad range of corporate and private equity transactions, financing arrangements, commercial contracts and corporate governance issues. He has particularly notable expertise in relation to private and public M&A, joint ventures (particularly public private partnerships) and AIM fund-raisings. He also heads the firm's independent sector health group and plays a leading role in the firm's thought leadership activities in the health & social care sector.

Jocelyn was seconded to Bupa in 2007 to assist with the separation of Bupa Hospitals from the rest of the group.
Jocelyn joined legacy firm Beachcroft from the private equity group at Allen & Overy LLP, where he focused on the pharma bio sector as well as advising insurers, other financial institutions and TMT and energy companies. Jocelyn trained as a company/commercial lawyer at Slaughter and May between 1995 and 2002, and worked on the healthcare brief in the Conservative Party Leader's Policy Unit from 2002-3.
