Davies Arnold Cooper strengthens Latin American practice through association with Brazilian law firm, JBO Advocacia

International law firm, Davies Arnold Cooper LLP, has today announced its formal association with Brazilian boutique insurance law firm JBO Advocacia, further strengthening its market-leading Latin American practice.

The association will allow Davies Arnold Cooper to assist its clients, particularly insurers and reinsurers, doing business in Brazil who require both local and international legal advice.

Davies Arnold Cooper’s expansion into Latin America began in 2003 when it became the first UK law firm to open an office in Mexico.  The past two years has seen the office double in size, with growth expected to continue.

The firm's Latin American team includes lawyers based in Mexico City, London and Madrid.  The team has Mexican and Brazilian qualified lawyers based in its London office.

Brazil has the largest economy in Latin America and the 8th largest in the world, compared to the UK which is 6th, Spain which is 9th and Mexico, which currently stands at 14th.
