International law firm DAC Beachcroft is pleased to announce it has retained its Investors in People (IiP) Gold accreditation, continuing to be one of very few commercial law firms to achieve the accolade based on feedback from its staff.
Approximately 150 people were involved in the latest assessment by IiP, which was launched by the UK Government two decades ago to help organisations get the best from their people and to encourage the pursuit of excellence in people management.
DAC Beachcroft employees praised the business for its respect in understanding the importance of work-life balance. IiP assessors were also impressed with the improvements made in communication and people management skills across the firm as well as the structures in place to assist its people with professional and personal development.
Commenting on the accreditation, DAC Beachcroft Managing Partner, Paul Murray, said: “Few law firms achieve a Gold standard and I am very proud that we as a business have managed to make this happen once again."
He added: "This significant recognition is one of the ways we demonstrate our commitment as a responsible employer to our people, to potential employees and to our clients and I'm very grateful to all the people that took part in the process."
DAC Beachcroft HR Director, Sarah Young, said: "This has been a very rewarding experience for the firm to go through and continues to support the value we put into our people and the importance of continuous improvement. It really is a true accolade to achieve the Gold standard."
